Earth Day 2006: Get out there!
Since the first Earth Day in 1970 people around the
world have sought
to celebrate the planet through a variety of individual and community
activities. But Earth Day is about more than observing the beauty and
vitality of nature; it is also about renewing your commitment to saving
our living planet.
Here
at Sambazon we are helping produce one of biggest earth day events on
the planet in New York City- the Green Apple Earth Day Celebration. On
April 14-15 we'll be inside Grand Central Station and then on April 21-22
we'll be outside Grand Central giving out samples and selling açai
products for special discounts.

Natural Products Expo
The annual natural products expo is always our favorite trade show
of the year. Organic companies from all over the planet come
together in Anaheim, CA to show the latest and greatest new products to
help fuel what our friends at Guayaki
call the "Green Revolution". Our Açai PowerScoop won "Best of
Show" award from Veg News magazine (yeah!!) and we threw a big party
with our favorite reggae
band Kush & the Bloodfiyah Angels for all our friends in this positive industry.

Shelby Chambers: Northwest Sales Manager
Shelby
runs the show for us up in the Pacific Northwest, based in
Seattle. We stole her from Whole Foods where she first got to
know Sambazon. "Live life to the fullest, because it is precious
and should be full of love and light! That is my motto, simple, but
that is how I try to live! I treasure my friendships and my friends are
my life...without them I wouldn't be who I am today." Shelby loves her
puppy and traveling, and recently got to go to Costa Rica. We had a Capoeira group perform at our expo party
and she told us she's all about it and going to start
training......we're ready to play next time you're down in San Clemente!
