Team Sambazon
Congrats to Sambazon Ambassador Bob Burnquist for his
victory at the first stop of the Dew Tour in Kentucky.
We
look forward to watching Bob as he continues to take it to another level at the Summer X Games 12

Michelle Bojcun
Operations Manager
Michelle is fondly known by a few names around our offices: Sometimes she's "the velvet hammer" for her quiet but
effective way of getting the job done. Other times, she's called "Mrs. Black" by the telemarkers when they call at 5 pm every day! But
essentially Michelle is the glue that helps keep Sambazon running smoothly on a day to day basis. As operations manager for a small company,
Michelle often wears many hats here, with duties ranging from customer service, fulfillment, human resources and accounts payable/receivable.
Michelle is a pro at it all! Originally hailing from Central Michigan, Michelle became a California girl nearly 9 years ago, but has retained
that midwestern work ethic and down-to-earth charm. She spent 8 years in the hospitality world working for both Marriott Vacation Club
and Starwood Vacation Ownership. On the weekends, she and her boyfriend Bill enjoy So Cal beach life with their dogs Angus and Bailey.
Michelle told us what she likes most about Sambazon is the people, the work, and most of all, the product -- "It is so nice to love what you
do". We agree and are very lucky to work with someone as hardworking and delightful as Michelle!

We've been included in some great monthly magazines this month -- please look for them out on the
newsstand.
The editors of "Maire Claire" magazine included us in a nice feature called "7 Reasons to Feel Good about the World"
in their August issue. Here's what they say, "Reason #5: You can fight aging and protect the rainforest. The Brazilian
açaí berry, now blended into Sambazon smoothies, contains crazy amounts of antioxidants and nutrients. Better still? Some of
Sambazon's profits go to helping protect the Amazon rainforest. We'll drink to that!"
Another magazine to check out is August "Men's Health" which includes açaí's health benefits and cancer
