"That is a tasty smoothie"
It was stardust mixed with purple berries last month in Park City where we sampled smoothies, juices and bowls at the Sundance Film Festival. Sambazon was a welcome oasis to nourish celebrities and festival goers at the Entertainment Tonight Lounge and The Wall Street Journal's Cafe Brilliant. Samuel L. Jackson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Sienna Miller, Carl Lewis, Ed Begley Jr, Tom Arnold, Cheryl Hines and many others loved our product and our Company's mission! We also served up some organic acai cocktails with our friends at Good Magazine's Party. (Next year maybe we'll actually see a movie...)

Fueling the X Games
Even in the cold and snow of the Aspen winter, athletes downed Sambazon bowls and smoothies at the Winter X games like it was going out of style. Sambazon fans including Hannah Teter, Torah Bright, Tanner Hall and Mason and Molly Aguirre were all getting with the purple berry to energize day and night. It was our fifth year serving acai in the Athlete Lounge, and we were proud to hear that no other products have been requested to be brought back longer than Sambazon.

Jeremy Black, Global Brand Manager
As global brand manager, Jeremy directs all consumer marketing, creative development, and product development for Sambazon. A member of Sambazon's original founding team since teaming up with founders brother Ryan Black and Ed Nichols in 2000, Jeremy has been a key player in Sambazon's growth by helping to pioneer worldwide awareness and demand for acai , developing and growing a robust consumer business and building an attractive lifestyle brand that now counts millions of health conscious consumers as fans. A work hard, play hard guy, Jeremy is also an avid athlete who enjoys traveling the globe for surf as well as snowboarding, and skating.
Jeremy tells us the best thing about working for Sambazon is how much people appreciate what we are doing, the ability to offer cutting edge organic products, and the free acai! He adds, "I think I've eaten more acai than anyone outside of Brasil!"

Anderson Cooper is probably the coolest guy in TV news today. His nightly show on CNN - "Anderson Cooper 360" - is what true news journalism is all about -- as well as bucks a prevailing trend about letting advertising dollars and special interest groups dictate what is 'news'. Anderson and crew are launching a very ambitious undertaking -- a special report on "The Planet In Peril" -- continuing the dialogue the Al Gore began to question in the film "An Inconvenient Truth."
They premiered their first episode showing the deforestation happening in the Amazon - clearly a topic that hits close to home for us!!
