Athlete Profile: Team Faith

Team Faith is a group of talented motorcross athletes who are positive role models within their sport- and have become one of Sambazon's biggest fans. Team rider Kevin Johnson, who took 3rd place for the second year in a row at the Toyota Arenacross AMA series can be seen with the Sambazon logo plastered all over his bike, his jersey, and even the trailer that carries his bikes. These guys usually consume 3-4 bottles of Sambazon Acai a day, and are quick to give props to the purple berry and its health benefits, creating brand awareness with the rest of dirt bike fans and athletes alike. The Tennessee based band of high flying burm bashing riders are a treat to watch and can be seen at Supercross Events and Jump shows all summer long. Bowl of the Month: Judahlicious Juice

One of our favorite juice bars in the bay area is Judahlicious Juice, near Ocean Beach in San Francisco. Owner Bodi and crew make a perfect açaí bowl topped with bananas, granola and Manitoba Harvest hemp seed nut. They also have a raw walnut crust pie that has an açaí banana filling and is topped with hemp seeds and bee pollen. They even make açaí soft serve ice cream!! Judahlicious is part of the Bay Area Green Business Association and their customers love that they use biodegradable cups and packaging for all their to-go items, which is right in line with everything we try to do here at Sambazon. Employee of the Month: Kevin Thompson

Kevin moved from Yuba City, CA to be our production manager here at Sambazon. Kevin is involved in many areas of our operations including overseeing Sambazon co-packers, quality control on our products, organic certification and documentation. He also helps out with product research and development, and is often seen in our lab testing various new product formulations. Kevin enjoys traveling, hiking, photography and 'anything that includes time with my wife Audrey.' (Men take note!!). Kevin tells us that his favorite thing about Sambazon is "How we differ from the typical mold. Sambazon has culture, which is severely lacking in our lives today. Sambazon is also passionate about what we believe in and has company culture with ambitions and values in things other than simply becoming a profitable company."
