 Sambazon Tribal Tour
The Sambazon Tribal Tour officially kicked off last month at the
Coachella Music Festival where we sold and sampled acai smoothies,
juices and bowls
to nourish thousands of festival goers reveling in the hot desert sun. Click here

two Samabzon vans will be traveling up and down the East and West coast
this summer, hitting the hottest concerts and festivals all over the
country
including Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Bumbershoot, High
Sierra and many more. Sambazon maintains its eco friendly commitment on
tour
by using bio diesel fuel to power our vehicles, solar powered lighting,

Athlete Profile - Steve Shriver - Organic
Marathon-er!
Sambazon fuels worldclass athletes top in their field as well as weekend warriors! Steve Shriver, the founder of Ecolips conceived of the
Organic Endurathon -- a 260 mile run across Iowa to promote organics
and
celebrate Earth Day. Steve
personally completed 6 marathons in a row over one month period and told us he would drink a Sambazon smoothie right after every marathon, when
he was feeling his weakest. After downing a Sambazon Steve said he felt rejuvinated and was back on his feet, ready to go again!

Recipe Contest

Acai Parfait
2 packages pure acaí
1 banana
¼ cup frozen strawberries & blueberries
¼ cup apple juice
½ cup skim milk
Granola
Blend all ingredients together minus the Granola until soft ice cream consistency. Get a margarita glass and add one layer acai, one layer
granola, one layer acai....until the glass is full. Have the last layer be the granola and top with one large strawberry....Beautiful and
Delicious!

Create Positive Change: The Power of
Community
Sometimes those that need help are a couple continents away; sometimes they are in your own backyard. In San Clemente where we're based, some
individuals have created Miles for Marines - a series of fundraising efforts to raise money for injured servicemen and their families.
One idea has inspired countless others locally and even across the country to open their hearts and help out however they can. From little kids
selling lemonade to soccer tournaments to outrigger teams paddling hundreds of miles to swim teams raising money for laps, our small community has
rallied together to create positive change. Regardless of personal political views, it is always the right thing to do to help others that need our

Employee Profile: Kristen Christopher
Kristen is our Midwest sales manager, where she's responsible for growing and maintaining relationships with grocery and natural foods
stores. Kristen came to us with an experienced sales background but its her talent and drive that have really helped her excel as one of
our Sambazon sales stars. Kristen and her husband Bobby have a couple dogs that "we spoil rotten" and will be soon breaking ground on a new
home they are building together. She also finds time to work out every day. Kristen tells us, "Sambazon is a wonderful company to
work for! Not only do we produce the best açaí products in the market, but the company energy is contagious. Customers and
