Power to the Peaceful Brasil
Ciro - our commercial director at Sambazon Brazil - shared that Sambazon participated in the
inaugural Power to the Peaceful Brasil concert in Sao
Paolo.
Originally an annual event in San Francisco created by musician,
poet,
filmmaker and human rights defender Michael Franti as a push for
social
justice and peace, Power to the Peaceful Brasil was refashioned to address issues of violence, poverty and social injustice in a Brasil-specific
way. Power to the Peaceful Brasil served as a fun and creative space to discuss these topics and present new paths for social action.
Sambazon, made sure that everyone had their fill of Açaí that day to keep the creative juices flowing. We're looking forward to going
back next year!

long time Açaí fan for energy to surf, I've decided (and many of my friends) with this combo to begin my day...
2 packs Sambazon Original Açaí Smoothie Packs
Cup of frozen strawberries.
Tablespoon of Flax Seed Oil
Tablespoon of Raw Bee Pollen
Cup & a 1/2 of Vanilla Soy Milk (just enough of make is thick and keep it
dark purple).
Blended.
Topped with French Vanilla Almond Granola & diced bananas
Enjoy."

Employee - Lynn Johnson
Lynn is our warehouse manager here at Sambazon where she manages our truck and van fleet as well as controls all aspects of our corporate warehouse
including incoming and outgoing shipments and inventory. Affectionately called an "Energizer Bunny" by some members on our Opps Team - Lynn is
a tireless worker who always gives maximum effort to make things happen. Seldom seen at her desk, Lynn is always moving, organizing, fixing - doing
what it takes to get the job done. Lynn came to us nearly two years ago after several years in banking and retail management. Lynn tells us she
loves going to the beach, visiting Disneyland, spending time with friends and family ("especially granddaughters!") and lives with a 'spoiled Golden
retriever named Roxey." We also learned she just had a few surfing lessons too - and loves it! Lynn says that she
"jumped at the chance to work for a cause and not just a paycheck. I feel fortunate to work with so many dedicated people and enjoy the
atmosphere of 'work hard, play hard.'"
