Thrive by Brendan Brazier
This month, Brendan Brazier, professional Ironman triathlete, bestselling author, creator of VEGA and Sambazon Ambassador, released the rebranded paperback version of The Thrive Diet in the United States
now called - Thrive: The Vegan Nutrition Guide to Optimal Performance in Sports and Life. As one of the few professional athletes
on
an entirely plant-based diet, Brendan spent years researching and developing a vegan approach to nutrition that could holistically fuel his career as

Event: Sundance
Like every year, a small Sambazon Crew made their way out to Sundance to showcase organic açaí products a spread the word about our
Sustainable Amazon Partnership. Set up in the Hollywood Life gifting suite, we got to see celebrities old and young, and all of their entourages
filing through for interviews, photo shoots and gifting.
Like so many of the people we meet every day, some of the celebrities that walked by our bar already knew about the brand, some ate the products
every day and some were eating authentic açaí for the first time. All were truly blown away by Sambazon and the message of sustainability
behind the brand. The most flattering moment was when Denise Richards walked up to our bar, the first thing she said was, "now this is a product I
will endorse". The same went with Paris Hilton, Kevin Sorbo, Brittany Snow, Christina Milian, Ryan Cabrera, Chris Kattan and the list goes on.

Forrest Shearer
Forrest, pro-snowboarder and Sambazon ambassador, was born in sunny San Diego, but quickly fell in love with the snow. Now you can see him jumping
off cliffs in Argentina, pulling incredible airs in backcountry Utah, and shredding pretty much every place where snow falls and repping
environmental
consciousness every step of the way. Last year, he even took part in the worlds first environmental snowboard film, My Own Two Feet.
Truly an inspiration to us all, Forrest claims its' the açaí that keeps him in top shape. "Açaí is rocketfuel!" according to
Forrest, "It allows my friends and I to push the progression of snowboarding... Sambazon Açaí is crucial to my snowboarding daily
routine."

 Employee of the Month: Cory Griggs
Cory is our Midwest Sales Representative based in downtown Chicago. Cory came to Sambazon with a background in sales and is already starting to show
his expertise in his home region. But like everyone, life isn't all about work... in his free time he has a ton of hobbies like golfing,
snowboarding,
scuba diving, traveling and going to the gym.
Cory tells us that his "favorite thing about Sambazon is that I believe in the company, what it stands for, and the quality of the product," and
while he's a fan of all Sambazon products, his favorite is still the Original Açaí juice, sweet and simple.
We are very excited to have you on the team Cory!
