ATHLETE NEWS /// Rochelle Ballard Premiers Surf Into Yoga

Rochelle Ballard, pro surfer and Sambazon Ambassador, revealed her latest work this spring in an artistic film called Surf Into Yoga! After leaving the ASP World Tour, Rochelle has spent two and a half years of dedicated, hard work to complete the film which combines stunning visuals of her experiences with yoga, surfing, environment, culture, and travel.

Surf Into Yoga is now being distributed across the United States and in select international areas. Learn more at Surf Into Yoga, watch the trailer, and look for the film at your local surf or yoga shops, as well as online.

EVENT /// Green Fest Denver

Although we're a veteran of most Green Festivals across the country, this month we attended our first ever Denver Green Fest.

We launched in King Supers, Colorado's biggest supermarket chain, last year - and the awareness about Sambazon in Denver has definitely grown since. At this month's Denver Veg Fest, we gave out samples to a few thousand CO locals, who were more than thrilled on the availability of Sambazon organic açaí juices, and now multiserves and energy drinks in their local markets.

In every new market that brings in our products, we do the best we can with grass roots events, marketing and demos to bring awareness to the area. And it's always amazing to hear so many positive comments from consumers that have finally been able to find the fresh, organic, and fair trade açaí that they have been looking for.

ATHLETE PROFILE /// Keala Kennelly

Keala is big time - from her early days as a Blue Crush co-star, to her phenomenal Teahupo'o ride in 2005, solidifying her place as the world's premiere female big wave surfer. On the side, she's also a pretty awesome DJ. And now her ultimate goal is to become the first female pro free surfer. If anyone is capable of changing the face of women's surfing, she is.
