Q and A /// How to Help Us Make Sambazon Available in Your Local Store
Q and A will be a new section to the newsletter that highlights standout inquiries from customers that we receive each month. The responses are
from our Co-Founder Ed Nichols (aka. Skanda) who is a major contributor to Sambazon's blog.
From Customer: Why are your juices always out of stock? When I go to my local Kroger store I end up buying them all and I feel
greedy, but they always seem to be out. I've tried a lot of Açai drinks including MonavieTM, but nothing compares to your blends.
Great Job.
Response: I've shared your email with our sales team so they can work with your store to try and do a better job keeping product in
stock. The truth of the matter is that if we tell a given store that they need to order more, they take it with a grain of salt. When a customer
tells them to, they listen. So we need your help, please talk to the guys at your store and let them know and they will make it happen. Also please
note soon we will no longer be selling our juices and smoothies for sale on-line, just our supplements, smoothie packs and energy drinks. So if you
regularly buy our smoothies on the website make sure to stock up before they are gone.

EVENT /// Sambazon Hosts Surf Into Yoga with Rochelle Ballard at Nike 6.0's Motel No
Tell
On Saturday July 18th, in partnership with Nike 6.0, we hosted the first ever Surf
Into Yoga class by Rochelle Ballard at the San Clemente Motel No Tell installation. Attendees like big wave rider Jamilah Starr and her soon to be two year old son Waimea
came to the morning session that was filled with Rochelle's favorite strength and balance poses. One of the top female surfers today, Rochelle has
used yoga to focus her mind and develop incredible balance and core strength that ultimately has contributed significantly to her surfing
performance.
This was a bit of what Rochelle shared with the class.

EVENT /// Dear & Yonder
Dear & Yonder, a surf film that documents the female influence in the sport as we
know it, showcases a dynamic cast of historic figures and current pros, shapers and sea voyagers. Producers Tiffany Campbell and Andria Lessier are
taking their film on a national tour to every surf town in the country with the help of Roxy and Sambazon. We've seen it a few times now, and were
utterly amazed - a film so artistic, focused solely on women wave riders has never been seen by the surfing community before. So if you surf, or just
enjoy watching, we encourage you to check out the movie at one of its upcoming tour
stops.

ATHLETE PROFILE /// Fabrizio Santos
From Aracaju, Brazil, Fabrizio has been skating since he was 14 years old. Today,
he's a local to Costa Mesa, California, and can be seen skating in top competitions around the country. From his long dreds to laid back style, he's
maintained his roots through and though - and we've been lucky to be the ones to supply him with Brazilian açaí.
Now a father, he balances his love for his family with his love of skating and often comes to visit the Sambazon offices with his little girl. He
tells us I "just believe in God and keep skating."

Plant with Purpose is an San Diego, CA based nonprofit working to reforest
poverty-stricken areas of the world.

Açaí Energy Bowl
In a blender mix:
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
4 oz Activia - Blueberry, Mixed Berry, or Prune low fat yogurt
4 oz Organic Grade A Bulgarian Yogurt (Live Acidophilus)
2 bananas, slightly ripened
2 organic apples, pealed and sliced
1 Sambazon Original Açaí or Pure Açaí smoothie pack
1 Sambazon Amazon Cherry smoothie pack
Blend, pour into cereal bowls, top with Organic Hemp Plus Granola. Makes two to three servings.
