Here at Sambazon, we’re all about making positive change and for the last 10 years we’ve worked hard to do just that. As the next step to the Warrior Up Campaign, we’ve partnered with our friends at
Off The Mat Into The World, a yoga leadership organization, to launch our very own
Warrior of Change Contest.
In round one (i.e. right now) we’re accepting applications from individuals with a social or environmental project for a $10,000 grant that will be awarded to the person who demonstrates the ability to most effectively make positive change in the world.
And early next year, we will start round two and target the contest to social entrepreneurs looking to start or progress a Triple Bottom Line Business.

RECIPES /// Almond Buttered Banana Freeze
Sambazon Warrior and Raw Food Chef Ani Phyo showed us (and everyone who watches
FOX 5 morning show in San Diego) last week how to make what she calls an Almond Buttered Banana Freeze with Sambazon Açaí. It’s insanely delish, but beyond that Ani explains that the ingredients have functional benefits too. Almonds provide calcium, protein, and vitamin E, bananas are loaded with potassium, and açaí is full of antioxidants and healthy omegas. This easy smoothie is a great post workout fuel – it helps increase circulation and blood flow to stressed muscles, while building lean tissue.
