X-Games 9 in Aspen brings record crowds |

Another great year in Aspen where the world's top athletes
competed in Snowboarding, Skiing, Moto and SnoCross. For the
second year we were invited to come blend bowls of Acai for
the athletes in the Athlete's lounge. Here are a few comments:

gets 50+ foot waves in December |

is the time of year the world's surfing community comes to Hawaii
to surf the biggest waves on the planet, it's also the #1 place
outside of Brazil that Acai is being consumed per capita. After
stocking up the freezers at the Quiksilver and O'Neil team houses
with Acai the Sambazon crew made a quick trip to Maui to see
the famous tow-in wave known as "Jaws" break. Check
out the little image below the helicopter tail as he drops in
on one of the bigger sets of the day...don't try this at home. |

Ryan
grew up and lives in Huntington Beach, CA. He started
working with us about 1 year ago handling all the
shipping and today he does every thing from overseeing
all shipping to accounts. If you see the Sambazon
Truck driving around So Cal Ryan is the man behind
the wheel and we like to say "our truck driver
surfs better than yours" because Ryan brings
it. Ryan recently married his lovely wife Jesse
(October) and besides surfing and snowboarding he
works with high school kids at Rock Harbor Church
in Costa Mesa. |
