Sambazon Plastics Are Safe/BPA Free

Sambazon plastics are safe/BPA free

There has been news recently about plastic bottles and their safe use for the consumption of food and beverage products.  A TV show recently interviewed a doctor who stated: “consumers should not buy bottles marked with a Resin Identification Code #7 because these bottles contain a compound called bisphenol A".

Unfortunately, the doctor caused some confusion as he failed to mention that there are many other types of plastic bottles marked with the #7 symbol that do not contain BPA.  Sambazon’s 10.5oz juice and smoothie bottles are marked #7 (#2 compatible) simply because they are multilayered and do not contain BPA.
The inner and outer layers of Sambazon’s 10.5oz juice and smoothie bottles are high-density polyethylene (HDPE).  The bottles have a cutting edge oxygen barrier sandwiched in between these two layers of #2 HDPE, the purpose of which is to preserve freshness.  This inner layer is also BPA free.

•    All of Sambazon products are packaged in BPA free and fully recyclable containers.
•    We are committed to the health of our customers and the environment.
