WHERE PALM-TO-PALM BEGINS

25 years ago, we pioneered a direct business-to-harvester model that allows us to know where our berries come from, the people who harvest them, and how our Açaí is handled and processed along the way. We know the players & partners essential to what we do, and we care about their wellbeing.

Our Palm to Palm App

In 2024, Sambazon launched a revolutionary App called Palm-to-Palm (P2P) which enables new levels of supply chain traceability, transparency, and quality control in remote global regions. It allows for two-way communication with our harvesters, helping them be part of sustainable Açaí management efforts.

Boat LoadS Of Berries

Within hours of being harvested, and due to its high perishability, our Açai is typically loaded into large baskets and onto boats, quickly making its way to one of our two, state-of-the-art production plants

Sambazon Receives Highest Possible Food Safety Rating

In addition to our vertical integration advantage, we’re proud that our plants have the highest possible food safety rating, an AA+ from BRC Global Standards (BRCGS), a globally recognized food safety certification. Our year over year high rating shows just how seriously we take food safety.
